Free Florida 7-Day Notice to Cure Generator
Generate a Florida-compliant 7-day notice to cure for a lease violation. No signup required.
Florida law (Statute § 83.56(2)(b)) requires landlords to deliver a 7-day written notice giving the tenant an opportunity to remedy a curable lease violation before terminating the tenancy. Use the form below to generate a properly formatted notice in PDF format. The notice is yours to print, sign by hand, and serve to the tenant.
How to deliver a Florida 7-day notice to cure
After generating the PDF, follow these steps to serve the notice properly.
1. Document the violation
Write down exactly what the tenant did, when you observed it, and which clause of the lease it breaches. Keep photos, messages, or other evidence in case the case goes to court.
2. Fill out the form
Enter your information, the tenant's information, and a specific description of the noncompliance. Click Generate notice.
3. Download and sign
Your PDF downloads automatically. Print it and sign by hand at the bottom.
4. Deliver to the tenant
Florida law accepts: hand delivery, posting on the property door if no one is there, or mailing. Document how and when you delivered it.
5. Wait 7 days before terminating
The tenant has 7 calendar days from delivery to remedy the noncompliance. If they cure within that period, the lease continues. If they do not, you may proceed to terminate the tenancy and file an eviction action.
